For the design, I pressed a large Meadow Parsley flower growing wild here on my property into Raku Clay. I then carefully pulled it out to reveal a beautiful radial impression of the flower.
The colour is Pear Green on the face of the dish with a Deep Forest Green on the underside.
After firing for the first time, I then added the Black Oxide wash into all the crevices, re-fired it and finished it with 3 layers of organic Beeswax polish to give it a lovely matt finish.
Measures... 10cm (4") in diameter and is 4cm (1.57") tall.
Comes in a cute gift box handmade by me from recycled cardstock.
Note: Please don't wash this in the dishwasher ... just a light rinse in warm soapy water is perfectly safe.
