I love Leucadendrons from the Protea family, so I created this little beauty!

Species: Fantasy Sunset PBR

I tried to capture the Intrinsic essence as near to the real thing as humanly possible with resin and wire, which is a feat in itself!

The Petals are formed in wire and dipped in clear resin, then I meticulously painted on Red with Green highlights to create a gradient effect. (which doesn't show up in the photo's unfortunately) 

The centre of the flower is a Light Olive crystal.

The stems are wrapped in floral tape.

The ceramic vase (not handmade by me this time) is Chartreuse Green and is filled with resin to hold the Leucadendrons in place. 

Designed to sit on a windowsill or anywhere that catches the light.

Full length is 16.5cm (6.50") and the vase is 7.5cm (3") tall.
