Imprinted into a terracotta clay slab are wildflowers collected from around my property here in Bingara NSW. 
Consisting of 2 Clover varieties, Shepherds Purse and Wild Mustard.
I then pour Plaster over the top within a surround, wait for it to dry and then the magic happens when you pull the clay from the plaster!
After waiting a week for it to fully dry, I then carefully painted it with watercolour in a subtle earthy colour palette and applied 2 coats of satin varnish to protect it.
The frame is recycled from a find at a local op shop. I sanded it back to its original timber and finished it with a tinted beeswax.
Measures 22.5cm (8.85") wide and 28cm (11") long.
Please note: This is for indoors only but will be OK on a veranda or porch wall, as long as it's protected from the harsh Australian elements.
