BOTANICAL BAS RELIEF SCULPTURE WALL HANGING

Edible weeds of Shepherds Purse, Clover, Dandelion and Wild Mustard flowers are firstly pressed in to soft Polymer Clay to create the impressions, .... baked, ... and then used as a  mould to press a Creamy White with Granite speckles Polymer Clay in to get the detailed raised design ..... then baked.

I used a lovely soft Blue Sage acrylic paint and covered the surface, then wiped away all the raised edges to expose the beauty of the flowers and leaves.

Sealed with a matt varnish.

Threaded together with Cotton macramé string and matching beads.

Measures ... 35cm (13.77") long and is 9 cm (3.54") at widest point.

I use the strongest Polymer Clay which is extremely strong and durable.
