Made from Air Dry Clay is this unusual landscape wall hanging.

For the domed centre I have securely embedded 2 freeform Koroit Opal into the clay and have a light coat of resin over the top to bring out the flashes of colour in the Opal.

Dotted into the sky are a beautiful little Tourmaline beads in a variety of Greens.

Inspired by the layers of the landscape where I live of ploughed fields, creek, rocks, rolling hills, cliffs and the ever changing sky.

Above has an embedded Green Labradorite with a metallic soft Gold ring and more layers of the landscape, depicting a tree with fruit.

The bottom trapezoid has a Black Touramline bead in the centre of curved discs with a subtle background.

Joined together with textured Copper swirls and a variety of stones consisting of....

Starting at the top are Olivine and Seraphanite, then below is Vesuvanite.

Down the bottom is Serpentine, Kambaba Jasper and a Peridot carved leaf.

The clay has been painted with a mix of watercolours with a few highlights in metallics and sealed with a crystal clear polyurathane satin varnish.

Hangs on a Copper chain and the stones are threaded on to Bronze wire with Copper beads and joined with Copper jump rings.

42cm  (16.53”) from top to bottom.

The focal dome measures 9cm (3.54") at widest point.
